Nadine Klajman has been a tennis enthusiast from an early age. She began training and competing at the age of 9. She was ranked in the top 25 in Ontario and top 50 in Canada for children aged 12 and under. While rehabbing after sustaining a serious injury, she turned to coaching to keep her involved in the sport. She volunteered to assist in children’s recreational programs, before acquiring her instructor certification from the Tennis Professionals Association at the age of 16. She has since worked as an instructor of players at various levels at Davisville Tennis Club, Wanless Tennis Club, and Howard Park Tennis Club. Now injury-free, she has also resumed playing competitively. As a varsity athlete in her freshman year at Brock University for the 2019-2020 season, she was named the team’s rookie of the year. She is a student in the Recreation and Leisure program at Brock.
